€1.3 Billion in New Investments for a Sustainable Future
The Fundo Ambiental 2025 will mobilise €1.3 billion for 170 strategic projects across eight public tenders.
The Portuguese Government approved a new round of investment through the Fundo Ambiental 2025, aiming to consolidate a more sustainable, resilient economy aligned with European climate targets. In total, 8 public tenders and 170 strategic projects will be funded, mobilising €1.3 billion to drive action in critical sustainability areas.
Investment areas
Strategic objectives include accelerating the energy transition with a focus on renewable sources, reducing the carbon footprint of key sectors, promoting green innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship, strengthening natural resource efficiency, and creating skilled jobs in future-facing sectors.
