Energy Self-Consumption: New ADENE Guide Helps Save Energy
ADENE, ERSE and E-REDES have launched the first of three guides on energy self-consumption, including self-consumption in condominiums with electric mobility.
ADENE – Agência para a Energia, together with ERSE and E-REDES, has launched the first of a series of three guides on self-consumption in Portugal, available on the Poupa Energia portal. This first guide focuses on self-consumption in condominiums with electric mobility, combining solar production with electric-vehicle charging.
What the guide covers
The document explains the difference between individual and collective self-consumption and renewable energy communities (CER), the rights and duties of self-consumers, the process of registering a Self-Consumption Production Unit (UPAC) with DGEG and E-REDES, and the proximity rules between production and consumption installations. The next two guides in the series will cover further topics related to self-consumption and electric mobility.
