Reporting Portal for Agriculture, Sea and Environment Launched
IGAMAOT launched iFAMA, a single inspection and enforcement platform that centralises reports and coordinates the bodies responsible for agriculture, the sea and the environment in Portugal.
The Inspectorate-General of Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Land Use Planning (IGAMAOT) launched, in early July, iFAMA – the Single Inspection and Enforcement Platform for Agriculture, Sea and Environment. The goal is to centralise and coordinate the efforts of various bodies involved in protecting the environment, regulating agricultural practices and managing marine resources, allowing citizens and organisations to report illegal or harmful practices.
Platform Features
- Submitting and managing reports, with status and resolution tracking.
- Inter-institutional coordination between the bodies responsible for enforcement.
- Data analysis and reporting to identify trends and priority intervention areas.
- Public access portal and automation of administrative processes.
