Preliminary Assessment (Case-by-Case) of a BESS — Baixo Alentejo, Beja District

StartSimple prepared a Preliminary Assessment (Case-by-Case Screening) for a BESS associated with an existing solar plant in Baixo Alentejo, Beja district, framing the project under the RJAIA and assessing whether a full EIA was required. The team technically characterised the solution, analysed compatibility with territorial management instruments, REN/RAN, the water domain and easements, surveyed ecological constraints such as natural values and ecological corridors, and defined minimisation measures for the construction and operation phases using GIS analysis and official databases.
