StartSimple carried out a Preliminary Assessment (Case-by-Case Screening) under the RJAIA for a green hydrogen production unit in Aveiro district, comprising a modular, containerised water-electrolysis system powered by renewable electricity, with compression, storage and injection into Lusitaniagás's natural gas distribution network. The analysis assessed water and energy consumption, land occupation, potential air emissions, noise and territorial integration, proposing mitigation measures and monitoring good practices.
