Major Environmental Constraints Study — Two New Wind Farms in Southern Portugal

StartSimple coordinated and prepared a Major Environmental Constraints Study for potential areas earmarked for two new wind farms in southern Portugal. The work identified the main environmental constraints and possible turbine locations, assessed spatial planning instruments and other applicable restrictions, characterised the baseline of ecological systems (fauna, flora, vegetation and protected habitats), and analysed potential landscape impacts, including a visual quality map and quantification of the projects' visual effects.
