AIA Screening Request for a Solar PV Plant — Aveiro Region

StartSimple prepared a Technical Note requesting screening under the Environmental Impact Assessment (AIA) Procedure for a solar PV plant located in the Aveiro region, aiming to assess, under the AIA Legal Regime, whether the project should undergo a full AIA or could benefit from a simplified screening. The study included a description of the project, characterisation of the implementation area, and analysis of environmental constraints such as land use, compatibility with territorial planning instruments, and the possible presence of relevant natural values.

Mitigation measures were also presented, ensuring the project proceeds in compliance with environmental legislation and with legal certainty for the developer.
